  • [CLASS]  Shadow Kin - First appeared in "For Tonight We Might Die" (Class series 1).  The wiped out the all Rhodia and Quill on their shared home planet except a Rhodia prince (Charlie Smith) and a Quill rebel leader (Miss Quill).



  • [CLASS]  April's Heart - As noted in the clips from previous episodes, April has shared her heart with the king of the Shadowkin since "For Tonight We Might Die" (Class series 1)


  • [CLASS]  The Cabinet of Souls - A relic from Rhodia which first appeared in "For Tonight We Might Die" (Class series 1).  In that episode the Shadow Kin wanted to steal it because it can be used as a weapon, but Charlie claimed that it didn't work.


  • [CLASS]  Ram's prosthetic leg First appeared in "For Tonight We Might Die" (Class Series 1).  It was given to him by the Doctor (using Lothan technology) after his was removed by a Shadow Kin.  Ram revealed his leg to his father in "The Coach with the Dragon Tattoo" (Class series 1).



  • [CLASS]  The Govenors - A group who sent a robot to monitor Miss Quill in "The Coach with the Dragon Tattoo" (Class series 1).  In "The Day of the Doctor" (50 Anniversary Special), before the new building was constructed and when it was Coal Hill Secondary School, not Coal Hill Academy, "I. Chesterton" was the Chairman of the Governors.  Ian Chesterton was a companion of the first Doctor and a science teacher at Coal Hill in 1963.



  • [CLASS]  Crack - First appeared in "For Tonight We Might Die" (Class Series 1).  The Doctor was only able to partially seal it and warning it would attract weirdness.  Rifts have previously appeared in E-Space in "The Warrior's Gate" (Doctor Who Season 18), in Cardiff ("The Unquiet Deadand "Boomtown" (Doctor Who Series 1)"Utopia" (Doctor Who Series 3), most of Torchwood Series 1 & Series 2) and Amy Pond's bedroom and all of space ("The Eleventh Hour" (Doctor Who Series 5)).


Coal Hill School Memorial Board:

  • [NEW]  Pink, R. D. - Rupert Pink, who was usually known as Danny Pink, appeared throughout Series 8 of the new series, dying in "Dark Water" (Doctor Who Series 8).  His name was the second last on the board in "For Tonight We Might Die" (Class Series 1).


  • [NEW]  Osward, C. - Clara Oswald (no middle name), was a companion of the Doctor who first appeared in "The Snow Men" (Doctor Who Christmas 2013) and became the Doctor's companion in "The Bells of St John" (Doctor Who Series 7).  She died in "Face the Raven" (Doctor Who Series 9) and never returned to the school.  Her name was the last on the board in "For Tonight We Might Die"(Class Series 1).


  • [CLASS]  Williams, K - Kevin Williams, who Miss Quill convinced to kill himself in "For Tonight We Might Die"(Class Series 1) and is probably still classed as missing.  He has obviously been added since that episode.



  • [CLASS]  Chapman, R - Rachel, Ram's girlfriend, killed by the Shadow Kin during the Prom in  "For Tonight We Might Die"(Class Series 1) and has obviously been added since that episode.



  • [CLASS]  Carroll, C - Assistant Coach Carroll, killed by the Leaf Dragon in "The Coach with the Dragon Tattoo" (Class series 1) and has obviously been added since that episode.



  • [CLASS]  Volkon, P - Cleaner at Coal Hill Academy, an accountant in her home country, killed by the Leaf Dragon in "The Coach with the Dragon Tattoo" (Class series 1) and has obviously been added since that episode.

  • [CLASS]  Dawson, T - Coach Tom, killed by the Leaf Dragon in "The Coach with the Dragon Tattoo(Class series 1) and has obviously been added since that episode.

  • [NEW]  Armitage, R - Headteacher of Coal Hill Secondary School, appearing in this role in a couple of Series 8 episodes and the first two episodes of Class until he was killed by the Leaf Dragon in "The Coach with the Dragon Tattoo(Class series 1) and is being added in this episode.
