- [OLD] Coal Hill Academy - Formerly Coal Hill Secondary School, the school appeared in classic series (the first episode "An Unearthly Child" (Season 1) and the 25th Anniversary "Remembrance of the Daleks" (Season 25)). It was also the school that Clara Oswald taught at beginning in "The Day of the Doctor" (50 Anniversary Special) throughout Series 8 and in "The Magician's Apprentice" and "The Woman Who Lived" (both Series 9).

- [1ST] Quill - The race that Miss Quill comes from. They don't look human and have taken on a human form to fit in on Earth. First appeared in "For Tonight We Might Die" (Class series 1).
- [CLASS] Shadow Kin - First appeared in "For Tonight We Might Die" (Class series 1). The wiped out the all Rhodia and Quill on their shared home planet except a Rhodia prince (Charlie Smith) and a Quill rebel leader (Miss Quill). They are the "alien shadows" that Ram states might kill him.
