THE DOCTOR'S Name

A Guide to Classic Who references in New Who and the Doctor.
The Doctor, obviously, isn't a name but rather a title. So what his the Doctor's name? We just don't know.

TIME CRASH - Introduction

A Guide to Classic Who references in New Who

The purpose of this blog is the share information from the classic Doctor Who series (1963 - 1989) that relates directly to comments and events in the new Doctor Who series (2005 - present) and to point out new information.

This blog will only reference televised material (the original series and the 1996 film) unless there's a really specific reference to the other material (comics, novels, audio plays).  I'm making no claim about what is or isn't canon, just sharing some information.

The blogs on individual episodes will references those episodes, not later episodes of new Who (so as to not spoil for new viewers).

I will also endeavour to note what appears to be new information so new viewers know that that's all there is to know about that fact.

Obviously, I can't note everything, so anything I've missed or you think needs classifying, just comment somewhere on this blog and I'll see what I can do.

Here's a quick list of series already covered, so far:
