• [OLD]  The Empire - Presumably the one of the Earth Empires.  The Earth Empire from around the 25th to 31st centuries appeared frequently in the classic series, especially the Third Doctor ("Colony in Space", "The Mutants," and "Frontier in Space.").  The Ninth Doctor offered to take Rose to the New Roman Empire in the 121st Century in "The End of the World." Fourth Great and Bountiful Human Empire appeared in "The Long Game" and "Bad Wolf"/"The Parting of the Ways" where it was revealed that it had been retarded and controlled by the Daleks around the 2001st and 2002nd centuries.
