THE FIRST DOCTOR

Serial 2C - The Smugglers [1 - 4]  All episodes missing.

Serial 2D - The Tenth Planet [1 - 4]  Episode 4 missing.

• First appearance of Mondas and the Cybermen.
• The only appearance of their original form in the classic series.
• Set in the far future year of 1986, a space capsule goes missing when a new planet appears in the sky and the Cybermen arrive trying to convert humans and destroy the Earth.
• The First Doctor gets ill, collapses and is "rejuvenated" becoming the Second Doctor.  This occurs in the TARDIS and was witnessed by companions Ben & Polly.

THE SECOND DOCTOR

Serial 2E - The Power of the Daleks [1 - 6]   All episodes missing.

• First Second Doctor story.
• The fifth full Dalek story.

Serial 2F - The Highlanders [1 - 4]  All episodes missing.

• The Doctor visits 18th Century Scotland.
• Jamie McCrimmon joins the Doctor as a companion.

Serial 2G - The Underwater Menace [1 - 4]   1 & 4 missing.

• The Doctor meets fish people, they had been operated on in order to survive underwater and to help the Altanteans farm plankton.

Serial 2H - The Moonbase [1 - 7]  1 & 3 missing.

• Set in 2070 on that year's Moon.
• The Doctor claimed to have graduated as a Doctor of Medicine in Glasgow, 1888.
• The second appearance by the Cybermen.
• The Doctor wears a space suit.

Serial 2J - The Macra Terror [1 - 4]  All episodes missing.

• Appearance of the Macra, a giant sentient crustacean race.

Serial 2K - The Faceless Ones [1 - 6]  Episodes 2, 4 - 6 missing.

Serial 2L - The Evil of the Daleks [1 - 6]   All missing.

• The sixth full Dalek story.
• First appearance of the Emperor Dalek.
