• The last full appearance of the Daleks in the classic series.
• The last appearance of Davros in the classic series.

• The Doctor reacquires the Hand of Omega.
• The Doctor uses the Hand of Omega to cause Skaro's sun to go supernova, destroying the planet (and a large portion of the Daleks).

Serial 7K - Silver Nemesis [1 - 3]

• The Cybermen arrive on Earth in 1988 to coincide with the return of the Nemesis comet, made of a living metal called Validium, which was created by Rassilon as the ultimate defence for Gallifrey and brings destruction to Earth.
• The Doctor lands his TARDIS in the grounds of Buckingham Palace, where the Queen is walking her corgis.
• It is suggested that the Nemesis statue influenced Hitler into annexing Austria in 1938.
• The last appearance of the Cybermen in the classic series.
• One of the Cybermen is a Cyber Leader.
