• The Mara, a villainous spirit-like entity from the Dark Places which haunts the Fifth Doctor's companion Tegan again.

Serial 6F - Mawdryn Undead [1 - 4]

• The Doctor has difficulty accepting that the Brigadier retired and became a Maths teacher.
• The Brig meets himself causing the Blinovitch Limitation Effect to occur.
• The timing of this story contradicts the idea that the UNIT stories occurred in the 80s.
• It was noted that the Brigadier joined the military in 1953.
• The Brigadier notes that Harry Sullivan was seconded to NATO, and last heard of doing something very hush-hush at Porton Down.
• SS Bernice is noted as being like the Mary Celeste.

• The Doctor doesn't meet King John, and is knighted as "Sir Doctor."
